Three new products — fresh from the kitchen of The Gracious Gourmet — will launch at the Summer Fancy Food Show. Cremini Mushroom Pesto, Moroccan Ratatouille Spread, and Fennel and Red Onion Spread join the company’s award-winning line of condiments, spreads, pestos and tapenades. Taste all three product prototypes before they come to market at Booth #5511 at the Javits Center in NYC from June 25-27. They will be available for distribution in August.
• Cremini Mushroom Pesto — Loads of cremini mushrooms mingle with dill, garlic and olive oil to create a fresh tasting pesto. Suggested uses: Stir into risotto, pasta or roasted potatoes. Enhance salad dressings, flatbreads, chilled pasta salads, creamy dips and sandwiches. Spoon it on to finish grilled meats, poultry and seafood. Serve alongside Spanish and Italian cheeses.
• Moroccan Ratatouille Spread – A touch of Moroccan spice accents roasted eggplant, garlic, onions and vegetables slowly simmered with olive oil. Delicious warmed or cold on bread, blended with pasta, spread sandwiches and to garnish roasted meats. Enliven an ordinary cole slaw, or top individual pastry shells for an elegantly simple hors d’oeuvre.
• Fennel and Red Onion Spread – Fennel and red onions are slowly caramelized with olive oil and lemon juice for a bright, flavorful spread. Serve alongside fish, shellfish, chicken and pork. Spread on crackers, place it on a cheese plate, spread on a sandwich or use it as a bruschetta topping. Add to a lemon and oil for a quick dressing. Stir into rice or couscous.
